New developments in the "perfect 710" series of edgebandersNEW: Customised user data acquisitionFormat-4 now offers the ideal setup for accurate costing of edgebanding jobs in the form of user-managed acquisition of the relevant operating data. Here the actual operating hours,edging material consumption, number of workpieces etc., are recorded for each order.Depending on the type of machine connection, the data is collected via a data network, orsimply manually via USB flash drive. Of course, permission levels for access to customised,stored data are needed – this is very simple to define and manage.NEW: Pneumatically preloaded, application-controlled glue potThe new, pneumatically preloaded, application-controlled glue pot of the "perfect 710"enables uniform application of glue on the edging along the entire workpiece length. Thecontrols for the glue pot govern the exact use and end points of the glue roller, and thepneumatic system ensures exact glue roller pressure, thus ensuring even glue application. Inparticular, the innovative Format-4 technology has made unsightly glue "bulges" at the end of workpiece edges a thing of the past.NEW: Pre-melting unit for EVA hot melt adhesiveThe pre-melting unit consists of an overhead melting unit with a 4 kg granulate containerwhich sits above a glue pot with a level sensor. A drop in the level of glue in the glue pottriggers the machine controls to send a request for additional glue to the granulate container.The required granules are pneumatically pressed by a high-performance hot plate, aremelted and flow into the glue pot.Using the new Format-4 pre-melting unit ensures that there is always fresh, colour-fastadhesive in the glue pot. It also helps avoid inconvenient downtimes for additional adhesivewarm-up phases. The granulate container and glue pot are equipped with a quick-changesystem as a standard. In addition, special cleaning programs make it possible to change glue or glue colour very quickly.NEW: Two speeds for maximum productivityThe selection of the desired feed speed, 12 m/min or 20 m/min, can easily be made from the control panel on the colour touch-screen. The increased feed speed of 20 m/min greatlyincreases productivity, especially for standard products (about 70% more throughput).NEW: Grooving unit for horizontal and vertical groovesThe new grooving unit of the "perfect 710" ensures even greater productivity. There is avertical application for back grooves and a horizontal application used for tongue and groove joints, which makes subsequent processing with a spindle moulder unnecessary. The choice of a particular application, vertical or horizontal, is made manually in just a few seconds. The settings for the groove position and the groove depth (0 to 15 mm) can easily be selected using the control panel on the color touch screen with an accuracy of 1/100 mm.
