Weeke has manufactured wood processing and plastic processing machines for the furniture, carpentry and plastics manufacturing industries since 1945, and revolutionized both industries with the world’s first lock insertion machine in 1954. Weeke also pioneered multi-spindle drilling of work panels, replacing the difficult and costly groove-and spring connecting method that was the industry standard at the time. Weeke was also one of the first companies to introduce CNC machining and aggregate routing media, two developments that reshaped the wood processing industry.
Stiles is proud to offer a complete line of drilling, routing and assembly machinery made by Weeke, part of Germany’s HOMAG Group. In addition, we’ve entered a joint venture with the HOMAG Group and Weeke Maschinenbau to form Weeke North America, a 30,000-square-foot plant in Grand Rapids, Michigan that manufactures the Vantech series of routers.
