What Is A Baghouse Cell Plate or Tubesheet?
Definition: A cell plate (sometimes referred to as tubesheet) is the internal floor that separates dirty from clean gas plenums. In a pulse jet baghouse the divider is called a cell plate. They are usually a flat sheet of steel with machined holes where fabric Filter Bags are seated. On a reverse air and some shaker type dust collectors, the cell plate has thimbles or tubes attached to each hole where the fabric filter bag attaches.
