When it comes to baghouses, lots of people in the wood, plastics and food industries have seen one. (The key word here is "one".) Many think they're all similar. Actually, there have been several thousand manufacturers over the past century making a wildly diverse range of designs. The handful of makers that still exist do so because their products work.
Like many pieces of shop equipment, baghouse filters need periodic replacement. If your unit (or the affordable used one you just found at an auction) is almost an antique and/or you can't locate the OEM, we can make replacement bags or sleeves for it. In most cases our engineered fabrics will substantially improve its performance at the same time.
Before you call, check out The "Inside" Story link to your right. Most collectors depend on an exact fit to function correctly. The best way to start is with a clear description of your requirements, and if possible, send us an old sample filter that you know worked properly. We'll walk you through the details.
A few last thoughts. Tell us about any known issues such as unusual filter wear or replacement motors with twice the horsepower. If you can't find the dust leak, we can provide fluorescent powders to track it down. And, if your bags have any reusable hardware like hanging bolts, inside disks or metal "disposable" (D) caps, don't accidentally throw any good ones away!
